Made for the way you work
Build and test coordination
Keep verification moving without turning every chat into another competing build.
In practice
A useful place to start
Two tasks need the same project build. Pumpkin can coordinate the work and let the waiting chat resume when the result is ready.
Use the machine wisely
Build and test coordination uses available resources and known work to decide when heavy jobs can run. Matching work may join an existing job instead of starting a duplicate.
Reuse known outputs
Supported project builds can use shared build outputs and incremental compilation. You can control those choices in Settings; a restored build is shown as cached.
Keep waits visible
Long jobs appear in activity with their state and output. Completion can wake the chat, so the agent can inspect the real result rather than keep asking whether it finished.
Get started
Ask the agent to run the checks relevant to its change. Review build and wait settings if you work on several tasks at once.
Good to know
Caching and coordination depend on supported project commands. A build result is not a substitute for behavior tests or live verification, and cached output is not a fresh compile.
