$20 per person per month is the editor: the local agent, subagents, grepai, MCP, browser, canvas, and downloads. Bring a supported Codex or Claude Code subscription and put its quota first to lower your token spend. Auto favors lower-cost suitable models, and context keeps task facts and recent work without repeatedly sending raw history. Connect your own API keys at provider rates with no Pumpkin per-token fee, including cache tokens. Your model plan is separate from your Pumpkin seat.

Questions

Is there a free trial?
Yes. Your first Personal or Business subscription starts with a 14-day free trial, with downloads and every feature. Stripe asks for a card at checkout and charges nothing during the trial. On day 15 it charges the first month for every seat unless you cancel before then; cancel from the billing portal and the subscription ends with the trial. Seats you add during a business trial are free until it ends. One trial per account and organization; a later subscription has no trial.
Can I use the subscription I already pay for?
Yes, with supported Codex and Claude Code subscriptions. Connect the provider app you have signed in to, add its models in Pumpkin, and put subscription access first in your provider order. Your plan’s terms, models, and usage limits still apply. Your Pumpkin seat is a separate charge. See setup and limits.
Will it lower my token spend?
It can, when a supported subscription's quota takes requests you would otherwise pay for per token. By default, eligible requests use subscription quota first; when quota runs out, Pumpkin can use a paid API route if you configured one. Auto can favor lower-cost suitable models, and context management avoids repeatedly sending raw history. Ezoic reported about $450,000 in July token spend and projects under $25,000 a month with Pumpkin; that figure is a forecast. Subscriptions and Pumpkin seats are separate costs. Do I need an API key too?
No, not to use a supported subscription model. Add a paid API route only if you want it available when subscription quota runs out. You control the order; API use has its own charges.
Does the price include model usage?
No. Pumpkin is the editor and the agent. Model use comes from your supported subscription’s available quota or from your own API keys, billed directly by the provider. Fireworks models can also run on Pumpkin's key without a Fireworks account; that use is prepaid credit at Fireworks' rate + 2.9% + $0.01 per million tokens, with auto-reload you set on the credit page. This markup only covers credit card fees and data transfer costs.
Is tax included?
No. Prices are before sales tax. Where tax applies, Stripe adds it at checkout based on your billing address. Businesses in supported countries (EU, UK, Canada, Australia, and others) can enter a VAT or GST ID at checkout.
What counts as a seat?
One person with a Pumpkin login who holds a license. On a business plan the owner occupies one seat, and each invited teammate occupies one more while they hold a license.
Can a business limit which models people use?
Yes. An owner or admin sets an organization model policy on the Policies page: the allowed providers and, within each, all models or only the ones you pick. Every member's editor applies it on sign-in and sync and refuses blocked models. Supported subscriptions and the local model count as providers.
Can I move a license to someone else?
Yes. Revoke it from one member on the team page and invite or assign the freed seat to someone else. No extra charge.
Can I get a refund?
Refund any Pumpkin seat or credit charge from the last seven days, no questions asked, including used credits and the first charge after a free trial. The billing owner requests it from account refunds. Type any reason; its content never decides eligibility. Funds return to the original payment method. A seat refund ends that subscription. A credit refund removes purchased credits and stops auto-reload; spent credits can leave a negative balance. See the refund terms.
How do I cancel?
From your billing page, open the Stripe portal and cancel. Your licenses stay active until the end of the period you already paid for.
Who is Pumpkin for, and what machine should I use?
Pumpkin is built for power users who want control over models, tools, and workflows. For heavy use with multiple agents, browsers, and builds, we recommend 64 GB RAM, a modern multi-core processor, and an SSD. Lighter workloads can use less memory. See system requirements and recommendations.
Which platforms?
Windows (x64 installer), macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel disk images), and Linux (x64 .deb and .rpm). Downloads are available to signed-in users with an active license, including during a free trial.
