Made for the way you work
Connected tools with MCP
Give the agent useful tools for your real work. MCP connects supported servers without hardwiring one vendor's service list into your workflow.
In practice
A useful place to start
Connect a project tracker or a data tool, then ask the agent to use its current information while working in the editor.
Bring your tool set
Add supported local or remote MCP servers. Their declared tools become available to the agent alongside built-in file, shell, search, and browser tools.
Manage connections
Settings shows configured servers, enabled state, and authentication needs. Supported OAuth flows let you sign in through the server's normal flow.
Keep large tool sets usable
Pumpkin can discover tools as needed instead of putting every full tool description into every request. This helps keep large integrations from crowding out useful task context.
Get started
Open Settings and add an MCP server using its documented setup. Check its access, sign in if needed, and enable the tools relevant to your work.
Good to know
An MCP server may run remotely and receive data sent to it. Its tools can have real effects. Review the server and its permissions; a local editor does not make a remote service local.
