Made for the way you work
Multiple computer sync
Bring the history with you when you change computers. Keep the storage destination under your control.
In practice
A useful place to start
Use a desktop at work and a laptop elsewhere. Sign in on both, configure the same supported storage, and sync the conversation and settings you want to carry.
Choose your storage
Use supported S3-compatible storage, Cloudflare R2, Google Cloud Storage, Azure, or WebDAV. Sync is optional, with manual and automatic choices.
Carry the useful context
Sync can include chats, transcripts, attachments, plans, and eligible user settings for open workspaces. Separate switches let you choose whether sessions and settings are included.
Keep machine details local
Provider secrets, storage credentials, and machine-specific paths and settings do not sync as ordinary settings. Account-based trust identifies which computers can take part.
Get started
Open Web storage in Settings on each machine. Sign in to the same account, choose the same storage destination, test the connection, and run Sync now.
Good to know
This is not source-code sync or live collaborative editing. Each computer needs its own checkout and credentials. The account service participates in sync-key management; do not assume it is blind to all key material.
