Made for the way you work
Slack alongside your work
Use the conversation space you already have. Keep the project on your computer and bring the useful updates to Slack.
In practice
A useful place to start
Mention Pumpkin in a linked Slack conversation to start work, then read the final result in the thread. A scheduled loop can send its own summary when it finishes.
Work on your machine
Link a computer to your Slack identity. Requests can reach that machine while the agent uses its workspace and configured tools.
Keep the thread connected
The Slack tools can read and share supported content with your account's access. Loop summaries, questions, and replies can keep recurring work connected to its human owner.
Choose the destination
Use a default machine when several are linked, and configure where loop updates go. You can turn off routine no-op summaries while retaining useful results and failures.
Get started
Open Slack in Settings, connect your account, and select the intended machine and update destination. Test with a small, clear task.
Good to know
Slack is an external service and receives shared messages and files. The linked machine must be available, and its Slack access is per machine rather than part of general settings sync.
