Live canvases

Some answers are easier to use than to read. A canvas gives the agent a place to build an interactive view of the work.

In practice

A useful place to start

Ask for a comparison where you can change the assumptions and see the result. Keep it open beside the chat while discussing what to do.

An answer you can explore

Canvases support live pages with charts, tables, controls, and custom layouts. They work well for reports, planning, comparisons, and small project tools.

Iterate in the same place

Ask for a change and see the canvas update. The agent can inspect it with browser tools, making layout and behavior part of the same feedback loop.

Keep or share the result

A canvas can belong to a session or a workspace. Export options let you take supported results out of the editor when the task calls for a standalone artifact.

Get started

Ask for an interactive canvas and describe the decisions it should help you make. Enable the browser and canvas features in Settings.

Good to know

A canvas is not automatically a public website. External data or services used by its content have their own access and network requirements.
