Made for the way you work
Project memory
Give the next chat a useful starting point. Keep lasting project knowledge near the work instead of repeating it every time.
In practice
A useful place to start
Finish a complex change with a short feature note: what the feature does, why it works that way, and how to check it. A later chat can find the note before changing it.
Notes that last
A memory folder holds project summaries and feature documents. The agent can read and update them as work progresses, giving later sessions access to decisions and verified facts.
Use your existing docs
Choose the memory location, including an existing documentation folder. Decide whether those notes belong in version control or should stay local.
Bring evidence along
Saved session data holds query results and other artifacts separately from chat text. The agent can find and reread them after the conversation grows, without treating a summary as the only evidence.
Get started
Enable the memory folder in Settings and choose a location. Ask the agent to record the feature goal, current behavior, and how it was verified.
Good to know
Notes are only as good as the evidence and upkeep behind them. Review important facts, and use your storage and version-control choices to decide who can access them.
