Made for the way you work

Autopilot

For work you are ready to delegate further, Autopilot can help a chat keep moving when it would otherwise ask what to do next.

In practice

A useful place to start

Turn on Autopilot for a well-scoped task. It can respond to questions, retry failed work, and send a follow-up when the task is unfinished.

A separate kind of help

Auto picks a model. Autopilot acts in your place within a chat, using a capable enabled model to make follow-up decisions. Those are different controls.

See its decisions

Messages and answered cards show that Autopilot acted. It can answer question and permission cards, so you can inspect which choices came from it.

Keep a stopping point

A configurable round limit bounds consecutive actions. Stop, a new message from you, or turning Autopilot off interrupts its current decision flow.

Get started

Use the Autopilot control in a chat after defining the task and its limits. Keep it off for work that needs your own approval at each step.

Good to know

Autopilot may approve actions on your behalf and adds model usage. It cannot supply a secret you have not provided. It is not a substitute for a required human review.
